Please remember that the weight YOU are happy with is the
weight that's best. My goal here is simply to show what is possible
and how to accomplish it, yet still be safe and comfortable.
PACK WEIGHT (no food/water/fuel, using USPS digital scale):
- Packed and weighed as carried: 10lbs 1oz / 4.6kg
NOTES:
- I did not separate "ZipLoc" plastic bags in any weights, but
I use several of them (about 0.2 oz. each). Their weight is
included (silently) in the individual weights where the items
are bagged (1st aid kit, toothbrush + floss, etc).
- Items never carried in my pack are not included, i.e. hat,
sunglasses, hiking stick, etc.
